J’ai obtenu mon baccalauréat ès sciences à l’Université hébraïque de Jérusalem en Israël, ma maîtrise en sciences médicales et neurobiologie à l’École de médecine Hadassah à Jérusalem et un doctorat en Neurosciences à l’Université de Paris-Sud en France. Depuis 2002, je suis directeur de recherche au Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). Je suis actuellement directeur du laboratoire Intégration Sensori-motrice et Plasticité et responsable du Département de Neurosciences Intégratives et Computationnelles à l’Institut des Neurosciences Paris-Saclay à Saclay, France.

Mes intérêts de recherche actuels comprennent l’étude du traitement sensoriel et de la plasticité ainsi que les bases neurales de la perception et de l’apprentissage. J’ai publié plus de 50 articles scientifiques et chapitres de livres sur ces sujets. J’enseigne la physiologie sensorielle dans plusieurs universités françaises et participe régulièrement à des conférences internationales, des écoles d’été et des séminaires. Je suis membre honoraire de la Société des Neurosciences d’Argentine.
