FENS Satellite Symposium on Neuronal Motor Circuit

FENS Satellite Symposium on Neuronal Motor Circuit

We are very excited to announce the FENS Satellite Symposium on Neuronal Motor Circuits, the day before the main FENS meeting.

Indeed, as you probably know, FENS 2022 will be held in Paris July 9-13, and will likely be the 1st in-person large scale Neuroscience meeting in a while. We have all suffered from various degrees of isolation during the pandemic, and had much less opportunities to interact. We therefore wanted to take the opportunity of this FENS forum to host a full-day satellite event, prior to FENS, entirely dedicated to neuronal motor circuits so that we can all get back in touch and exchange on our most recent work. As you will see in the program, the satellite will cover movement generation and sensory processing in the spinal cord, the organization of descending motor tracts, as well as integrated and adaptive motor control, with focus on limb and body movements. You will also see that the satellite gives priority to Early Career Researchers (young group leaders, postdocs, students), and we hope that many of you, including established investigators, will be interested in joining to make this event very rich and constructive!

Since we just relocated the lab to a new building in the Paris-Saclay scientific park south of Paris, we are very excited to host the symposium within our walls, with support of our host Institute. We ask you to formally register before May 31st on the above website so that we can have a precise count on the number of participants. Indeed, this is a self-organized event, but it is well-planned and we will book direct buses from and to Paris Porte de Versailles (and lots of coffee!) based on the number of registrations.

We ask you to formally register before May 31st: motorcontrol.wixsite.com/satellite-2022

The event is finished.
